Kirk William Walker returned to his Heavenly Father on August 6, 2024 in Georgetown, Texas.

Kirk was born March 23, 1975 to Earl and Chris (Larsen) Walker of Rigby, Idaho.  He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Kirk loved the Lord and he served in many positions including serving a mission in Argentina.  Kirk attended schools in Rigby and he furthered his education at Idaho State University and the University of Phoenix where he received his Master's Degree.

Kirk met the love of his life, Heidi Lindberg at ISU in Pocatello, Idaho.  Kirk and Heidi were married and sealed in the Idaho Falls, Idaho Temple in July 1999.  Kirk and Heidi completed their education at ISU living in Pocatello.  Kirk's education led to an employment opportunity in the Seattle, Washington area.  Kirk's positions of employment were in Human Resources.  He was Human Resources Specialist at Green River Community College and the Chief Human Resource Officer at Clover Park Technical College.

While living in Washington, Kirk and Heidi had two children, Zachary and Isabella Walker.  In 2023, Kirk had an employment opportunity at Southwestern Texas University in Georgetown, Texas as an Associate Vice President of Human Resourses which he accepted and relocated to Texas.

Kirk loved serving the Lord and caring for his family.  He was loved by many and touched many lives.

Kirk is survived by his wife Heidi, son Zachary Walker, daughter Isabella Walker, father Earl Walker (Winona), sister Kimberly, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his mother Chris Walker, niece Skye Gonzalez and his grandparents.

A time of Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 15th, 2024 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 218 Serenada Dr., Georgetown, TX 78628. The Funeral service will follow the Visitation and begin at 11:00 a.m.

Following the funeral, the family invites you to join them for a reception at the church.

Mr. Walker will be laid to rest at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 15th, 2024 at Liberty Hill Cemetery.
