Obituary

Kim Lan Nesme was born on March 18th, 1950, in Saigon, Vietnam and she transcended peacefully to Heaven on November 9th, 2025. During her last days on Earth, she was surrounded by her children, who enveloped her with love, Shawn Louise Williams, Lisa Diane Williams, Johnny Albert Williams, Jr. and Alexander Martin Miller. Her farewell to her children was a beautiful song that she hummed in expression of her undying love, which touched us deeply and will forever reverberate in our hearts. In Heaven she joins her parents, Elizabeth Qui Nguyen and Huynh Van Cu, her brothers Nam Huynh and Trung Huynh, her late husband, Johnny Albert Williams, Sr. and her former husband Kevin Modell Miller. In the Buddhist tradition, Kim is being ushered to Nirvana by her family's blessings of the mantra "NAMO AMITOPHO", a forty-nine-day memorial ritual for the attainment of inner peace and infinite life, as her soul is eternal and her spirit is one with God.

Kim's most precious gift was her unconditional love for her family. Her life's passion was her devotion to her children. Above all else, what mattered most to her was her children's happiness. Our mother was a true lioness, who worked so hard to put food on the table and to make sure we were safe, loved and protected on our life journey. Her fierce independence, hard work ethics, fighting spirit and courage instilled in us the values of making a good life for ourselves, being happy and fulfilled.

In life our mother expressed her love through the dedication she put into every meal she made, nourishing her loved ones with every delicious bite that was inspired by her heritage and worldly travels. We all enjoyed her wonderful meals that were infused with her loving energy. She carefully tended to her small porch garden and would often add her freshly cultivated herbs to her cooking and brighten the home with her flower blooms, continuing the cycle of life with her loved ones.

Kim's love of travel took her on many wonderful adventures to many continents around the globe. Her favorite place was by the ocean, and she spent much time on the coast of Nice, France in an apartment with a view of the Baie des Anges, fittingly the Bay of Angels. She is now our angel through eternity, who will always be with us, as we feel the wind and taste the salty ocean breeze. Her love of the ocean reminds us that we are not separate, insignificant drops, but rather the embodiment of oneness, and upon transcending this world we become one with universal consciousness.

Kim's family includes her children, Shawn Louise Williams, Lisa Diane Williams, Johnny Albert Williams, Jr., and Alexander Martin Miller. Her grandchildren, Edward Joseph Miller III (Joey), Kiratiya Miller, Hana Malyn Miller, John William Miller, Stella Rose Williams, Julian Miller. Her late husband, Johnny Albert Williams, Sr, her late former husband Kevin Modell Miller, ex-husband Jim Brandt. Her mother, Elizabeth Qui Nguyen and father, Huynh Van Cu. Her siblings Chrys Huynh, Trung Huynh, Nha Huynh, Dung Huynh, Nam Huynh, Thuy Huynh. Her nieces and nephews, Khoa Vo, Jenny Vo, Kathy Jozefowicz, Robert Jozefowicz, Allegra Le, Tristen Jozefowicz, Daniel Vo, Andrew Vo, Megan Tien Huynh Anasco, Tram Anh Huynh Tadena, Vu Huynh, Kimberly Huynh, Cindy Huynh, Holden Huynh, Landen Huynh, Maddie Huynh, Pauline Anasco, Analise Anasco, Ella Tadena.

To Kim's family, extended family and friends, may we all carry her torch of unconditional and undying love.
