Kenneth Wayne Miller, 76, passed away on September 23, 2024, surrounded by his family in Florence, Texas.
Kenneth was born on May 15, 1948, in Hays, Kansas, to Reuben Miller and Betty Shields. Coming from a military family, Kenneth moved around the country before settling in Connecticut and graduating from Plainfield High School. He proudly served in the Army from 1968 to 1971 and was deployed to Vietnam. After returning home, he attended Champlain College in Vermont, where he graduated with a business degree and competed in collegiate athletics. It was there that he met his future wife and started his family. Kenneth and his family later moved to Arizona, where he developed a love for the West and called Tucson home. Kenneth was passionate about golf and a sports enthusiast, and he volunteered as a high school sports official in his free time.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and Betty Miller, and siblings, Dottie, Dawn, Pam, and Gary.
Kenneth is survived by his beloved children, Travis, Rachel, Christopher, and Kelly, along with their caring spouses. His precious grandchildren, Nicole, Kaytlynn, Landon, and Caden, brought him joy and warmth. He also leaves behind his cherished sister Cathy and her husband, who held a special place in his heart.
Kenneth's final resting place will be the Arizona Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Marana, November 15, 2024.
