Kenneth
Benjamin
July 1, 1938 – December 31, 2019
Kenneth Earl Benjamin died Tuesday, December 31, 2019 in Georgetown, Texas of heart related illness.
He leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Elizabeth Benjamin; his daughter, Cory (Jeffrey) Wills; his daughter, Casey Benjamin; his daughter, Catherine Rodriguez; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by his two brothers, Robert Benjamin and Raymond Benjamin, and several nieces. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Shanz.
Ken was born on July 1, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Leslie and Thelma (Sexton) Benjamin. He grew up in Cleveland, going on to live in Puerto Rico, Texas, Oklahoma, California, and New Mexico. Ken spent much of his life in the manufactured housing industry, owning several dealerships in Texas and New Mexico. He also served as President of the Texas Manufactured Housing Association. Rarely seen without his cowboy boots, it was fitting that Ken chose to retire in Texas. An accomplished chef and always ready for adventure, Ken loved traveling the United States and abroad.
His family has chosen not to hold a service at this time, but plans a Celebration of Life this spring in Dallas for family and friends. He is greatly missed by all.
