Keith Richard
Anderson
January 24, 1943 – July 13, 2025
Keith R. Anderson passed peacefully into heaven on July 13, 2025 with his beloved wife by his side. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Helen Anderson, his siblings Kenneth Anderson & Maureen Bosking. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Deborah, his boys, Mark (Susan) and Brian (Melissa), many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Keith was a 2nd generation Swede, and proud of his heritage. Probably one of the few Swedes that loved to host a family Palt and ligonberry jam breakfast. And, knew the traditional Swedish Shodish dance.
He grew up in Battleground, WA, graduated from Battleground HS class of '61. He was awarded a scholarship for his ability to play percussion instruments - even showed off his skills at the Portland, OR Symphony Orchestra. But, after 2 quarters - his draft number came up, and he enlisted in the Air Force.
He went thru Basic Training at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX. He spent most of his career in Spokane, WA, learning his lifelong career of computer operations. His 1st major job was with Weyerhauser Corp - and still stays in touch with co-workers.
He met his wife Debi after He got a job at San Diego Trust and Savings Bank where he worked as a computer operation manager & she was a programmer. He asked her out for a date and six months later they were married.
Keith retired 22 years ago, and it took him awhile to find his footing in a non-work environment. He tried several things - such as being a golf course Marshall, working for the 2010 census, and he was the 1st Landscape Home Manager for Sun City, Georgetown. He became a silver star bowling coach - enabling him to teach HS girls to competitively bowl in tournaments and get Title 9 College Scholarships.
But his greatest gift was his generosity to anyone who needed help! And he loved to shower Debi with the most unique and loving gifts.
