On February 4, 1960, in Berwick, Louisiana, God blessed the proud and loving parents, Cleave and Ruby Sanford, with a precious baby girl, Kathy Jo Sanford (Jacobs).  Kathy was a native resident of Morgan City, LA, only to move to Georgetown, TX,  within the last three years.   Kathy loved life and had the biggest of hearts.  She never met a stranger and people tended to draw near to her "Southern Hospitality," as everyone around was sure to be called "Baby" or "Darling."  Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family and those closest to her.  She will always be remembered as the life of the party.

On Monday, March 17, 2025, Kathy put on those glorious wings and went on to meet her Savior.  She was preceded in death by her father, Cleave Sanford; mother, Ruby Sanford; her brothers, Richard Haynes, Sr., Stanley and Steven Sanford; sisters, Janet Haynes and Treasure Sanford (Singleton).

She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter Danella Jacobs (Williams) (Georgetown, TX) and two children, Kaiden and Destiny Williams; son, Quentin (Kaleena) Jacobs, Sr. (Cedar Hill, TX) and two children, Kyla and Quentin Jr.; sisters and brothers, Curtis Haynes, Sr (Port Barre, LA); Wayne Hayes, Sr (Shreveport, LA); Nancy Haynes (Port Arthur, TX); Cleave (Kate) Sanford (Shreveport, LA); Vernell Jones (Landcaster, Virginia); Alma Ulmer (Killeen, TX); Brian (Lisa) Sanford (Corpus Christi, TX); Leslie (Ralph) Seaton (Mesquite, TX).
