Kathryn Mae (Bauder) Dickison

Kathryn Mae Dickison, 87 of Georgetown, passed away on October 21, 2026 in Round Rock Texas surrounded by family.

Kathryn was born August 12, 1939, in Wolsey, South Dakota, the daughter of Edward and Agnes Loretta (Meyers) Bauder. Her Bauder grandparents, John and Christina, came to the Dakotas from the German colonies near Odessa. Kathryn grew up on her family’s farm in South Dakota before the Bauder Family made their way west to Oregon when she was a young teen.

In 1963, she married Wesley Rolland Dickison. They raised their two sons Scott and Randy in northern California. After their sons finished school, Kathryn and Wesley returned to Baker City, Oregon to spend their retirement near family. They shared 52 years together until Wesley's death in 2015. In 2018 she moved to Texas to be closer to her sons and their families.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley and her parents, Edward and Agnes Bauder.

She is survived by her sons, Scott (Christine) Dickison and Randy (Tara) Dickison; her grandchildren, Madison and Paley Dickison, and Cameron and Kristopher Dickison; her sister Mary Jane Hackwith, her brother Keith Bauder; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She will be laid to rest next to her beloved Wesley in a graveside service at Mount Hope Cemetery in Baker City at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Baker County Senior Center at 2810 Cedar Street, Baker City, OR 97814.
