Karen Louise Stewart, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on June 11, 2025, in San Marcos, Texas, at the age of 69. Born on December 29, 1955, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, Karen lived a life marked by strength, love, and a giving, thoughtful spirit.

She is survived by her three children, Patrick Justin Stewart, Richard Jarrod Stewart, and Katie Ann Stewart, as well as her cherished granddaughter, Madison Jade Vhay. Karen's love for her family was constant and unconditional — the foundation on which so many happy memories were built.

Karen had a lifelong passion for books and found great joy in reading, especially mysteries and true crime stories. Her time was often spent lost in a good book, show or tending to her flower gardens, which she nurtured with the same care she gave to those around her.

Those who knew Karen will remember her quiet wisdom, strength, and unwavering love. She was the kind of person who listened deeply, gave freely, and made everyone feel at home.

She will be missed beyond measure and remembered always. In lieu of flowers, donations to Second Chance Farms will be accepted at https://www.secondchancefarmgranbury.org in her name.
