Joyce Samford passed peacefully from this life and went to be with the Lord on November 27, 2024 with her 2 sisters by her side.  Joyce was born on February 23,1956 in Coleman, TX.  She is preceded in death by her father Weldon Samford, mother Yvonne Samford and sister Jan Scarbro. She leaves behind 2 siblings Lynn Gross of Kermit, TX and Lois Samford of Round Rock, TX. Joyce also leaves behind 3 nieces, 2 nephews and several great nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved. Joyce grew up in Kermit, TX where she was a medal winning barrel racer, active in a wide range of sports and even starred in plays during high school.  She had several career paths in her adult life with her most recent being a dispatcher for a plumbing company. Her love for family was the center of her life accompanied by a generous circle of friends and coworkers. Throughout her life Joyce has been open about her struggles with addiction and how her decision to draw close to God had forever changed her. Over the last 19 years she maintained her sobriety and every year openly celebrated her victory and how she kept the faith.  Her funny stories, life wisdom, sharp wit and unmatched fiery personality will be forever missed here as we mourn our loss, but we have peace knowing she is now in the loving arms of our Savior. The Funeral Service is at 2:00 P.M. ,Tuesday,  December 3, 2024 in the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home.

Burial is at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 4th, 2024 at the Kermit City Cemetery.
