Joyce Porter, born December 1, 1936, in San Antonio, Texas, died on August 20, 2025 in Georgetown, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Alice Uhling, husband Dave Porter, and their daughter Laurie Way.

She is survived by her son Timothy Porter and her twin sister, Jean Tschirhart; son-in-law Craig Way and wife Linda; Four grandchildren, Andy Way and wife Chantel, Haley and Tyler Carroll, Julianne Way, and Jason Way. Great grandchildren include Theo, Gideon, Nora, and Ruthie Carroll.

On March 9, 2025, she married Louis Fairchild and inherited Amy Fairchild, Susan Fairchild, Mia Elliott and their respective spouses: Gretchen Ritter, Cindy Lppoliti, and Ben Elliott. Max and Georgia Carrino, Clay and Aaron Elliott, and Gerard Carrino complete the family tree.
