Jose Manzano Somera

Jose Manzano Somera was a devoted husband, father, and friend. He cherished traveling with his beloved wife, loved to cook and found joy in walking his dogs (Brutus, Elvis and Dolly). He was a man of few words and expressed his love through his actions.

As a proud Filipino Scout, Jose bravely served alongside American allies in World War II, later receiving the Congressional Gold Medal for his service.

He will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for family. His legacy of courage and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
