His love of trains was more than a career; it was a lifelong passion that remained close to his heart.
For the past 21 years, Jack shared his life with his beloved wife, Elizabeth Kay Reeves. Together, they made their home in Sun City Georgetown, Texas, where they had resided since 2006. Jack was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Austin, Texas, and found great joy in the friendships and community he built throughout the years.
Jack enjoyed life and staying active. His many interests included trains, antique cars, playing pickleball, enjoying games of Mexican Train, volunteering for Citizens on Patrol, and working out at the community center. He especially loved visiting and socializing with friends. Whether sharing a conversation, enjoying a game, or simply spending time with those around him, Jack had a genuine appreciation for friendship and the connections he made. His years in Sun City brought him many wonderful friendships and countless treasured memories.
Above all, Jack dearly loved his family. His wife, children, and grandchildren were the greatest joys of his life. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Kay Reeves; his children, Patrick and wife Lisa, Robert and wife Ozzy, David and wife Lesli, and Jodi Reeves; his sister, Susan Jones; and his beloved grandchildren, Elizabeth, John, Zach, Sophia, Mickey, and Charlotte Reeves.
