Martha Jo Henry Blaylock, born September 8, 1939 passed away peacefully on April 4, 2024. She was born to Martha Young Henry and Marvin Marion Henry. Married to Brent Connie Blaylock for 60 years.  Jo is survived by her loving husband Brent Blaylock, brother and sister in-law, Chet and Liz Henry. She was a loving mother of four children Connie, Kendra, DeeDee, Brent and their spouses, ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jo attended Austin High School and was a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin, graduating with a degree in Radio and Television, from the College of Communications with a minor in English.

She had many accomplishments throughout her life. She was a Captain of the University of Texas Stars twirling team in college. She was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority as a rush captain. She was the Director of KUT/FM while attending college. As a mother of four children, she helped in creating the Northwest Hills Little Miss Kickball League that is still in operation today. She had various other jobs to where she always excelled such as top sales agent with Ridgeways, selling Emma Paige Jewelry and earning a trip to New Zealand. The most recent pride was being the ambassador at Brookdale Retirement Facility where she helped mentor new people into the home.

There will be a visitation Wednesday April 10, 2024 at the Higdon's home 5:00-7:00pm. Services will be held 10:00am Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Ramsey Funeral Home, 5600 Williams Dr., Georgetown, TX 78633 and a small graveside service at Salado Cemetery, Baines Road, Salado, Texas following the services.
