Jimmy Lynn Snow, 67, of Georgetown, was relieved from his pain and walked into the arms of Jesus on August 8, 2022 after a short but valiant battle with Burkitt's Lymphoma.

Jimmy was born in Gainesville, Texas on August 15, 1954 to Joe and Louise Snow. He graduated from Northwest High School and immediately began working for Texas Power and Light (TP&L). Although the company changed names, he worked for the Texas electric company his entire 41 year career.

Jimmy married Susan Wilkerson on May 29, 1976. During their marriage, they lived in Justin, Texas and Lindale, Texas ultimately settling in Georgetown in January of 1987.

To cherish a lifetime of memories, he leaves behind Susan, his wife of 46 years; daughter Corrie Searight (Ryan) and son Josh Snow (Katie); 5 grandchildren, Clara, Reid and Chase Searight and Julia and Layne Snow. They will miss their Pops tremendously! He is also survived by his older brother Joe Snow (Jonita).

As several friends have stated, Jimmy was "one of the good guys." He was a loyal friend, and his friends knew they could count on him. He was an outdoorsman extraordinaire finding great satisfaction hunting and fishing and sharing that passion with others. He also loved reading, history, German Shorthaired Pointers, Schnauzers, gardening, working on tillers, a good fish fry, the Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Rangers, and any opportunity to visit with any one about any of those things.

Jimmy's kids remember him reminding them often, "life's just not fair," and they believe it now more than ever.

Jimmy was a member of Crestview Baptist Church in Georgetown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crestview Baptist Church in Jimmy's name.
