Jimmy Borel, aged 68, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2024, shortly after arriving at Christopher House in Austin, Texas. Surrounded by his loving family and his faithful dog, Hank, Jimmy took comfort in the serene view of a beautiful garden from his room, which featured a large tree and a calming fountain.

Born with a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life, Jimmy cherished his time with family, relished a good meal, and found solace in watching the Food Network and Hallmark movies. His passions for birds and gardening were a reflection of his nurturing spirit.

Jimmy's life was a testament to selflessness, kindness, patience, positivity, and above all, a profound love for his family. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Jill; his daughter, Kimberly; and his two sons, Andrew (Kara) and Timothy (Kyle); as well as his two and half grandchildren. He also leaves behind his three sisters; Francis Lee, Belia Curtis, and Nilda Borel, in addition to a wealth of other extended family. His memory will continue to inspire those who knew him, as he taught us all the value of genuine care and affection.

He was laid to rest at Our Lady of the Rosary in Georgetown, Texas on September 16th, 2024.

Jimmy Borel will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his unwavering love and gentle spirit.
