Jerry Wayne Riggs, aged 67, passed away on November 11, 2024, in Bartlett, TX. Born on July 10, 1957, Jerry was known for his easy-going nature and his readiness to help others in their time of need.

Jerry was a proud graduate of Georgetown High School. Throughout his life, he nurtured a passion for raising various birds, including chickens and peacocks. His love for animals often led him to local auctions, and he enjoyed the occasional excitement of a casino trip.

A devoted member of the Crosspoint Church, Jerry found a community and solace there. His faith and fellowship were important aspects of his life.

Jerry is survived by his loving daughter, Teri Richardson, and son-in-law, Collin Oliver. He was a cherished grandfather to CW, Bre, Macee, Riley, and Avery. He also leaves behind his sister, Lisa Vasquez, and her husband, Frank and nephews Tyler and Tanner. As well as his brother, Ricky Riggs and Nieces Jena and Jill and Nephew Justin. His extended family includes many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Betty Riggs.

A memorial service to celebrate Jerry's life will be held at Crosspoint Church, located at 3800 Shell Road, Georgetown, TX 78628, on November 30th at 10 AM. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
