Jeremy Don
Mayo
October 22, 1981 – January 25, 2026
Jeremy Don Mayo, of Salado, Texas, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, January 25, 2026. He was born on October 22, 1981, in Baytown Texas.
Jeremy graduated from Groesbeck High School in 2000 and received a degree in Computer Graphics from Texas State Technical College in 2002. After completing his degree, Jeremy worked in the computer industry for 24 years starting with DELL Computers and most recently with Salesforce (formally Tableau).
When he wasn't in front of a computer, you could find him in his recliner watching Texas A&M football, the Houston Astros, or watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S. for the millionth time.
Jeremy was an avid golfer, griller of all meats, and the Master of a crawfish boil. He loved to travel with his family and friends and was always up for an adventure, but it had to be some place sunny and warm.
Although small in stature, he could be the largest presence in the room. With his quick wit and charm, Jeremy had a rare gift for making others laugh and smile, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.
Jeremy is survived by his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Kelly Curry-Mayo; twin daughters, Emily Paige Mayo and Mackenzie Lane Mayo; son-in-law, Kaleb Hollingshead; mother, Deanna Smith; father Donny Mayo (Melea); sister, Ashley Knowles; grandmother, Nell Mayo; parents-in-law, Thomas and Kathy Curry; brother-in-law, Blake Curry (Kati); sister-in-law Alison Rogers (Larry); nieces and nephews, Chandler Woodruff, Gavin Rogers, Jackson Curry, Kasen Rogers, and Adam Knowles; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a never-ending list of friends.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents Pete and Bonnie Swearingen, Eldon Mayo, and most recently his two lap-loving dogs, Tootsie and Cooper.
Jeremy was an active volunteer with We Are Blood, transporting donor blood to multiple facilities. He did this because it was near and dear to his heart, as it saved his life numerous times.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the American Heart Association and We Are Blood of Austin, Texas.
