Jeremy Levan
Benson
December 27, 1969 – June 24, 2025
In loving memory of Jeremy Levan Benson
December 27, 1969 - June 24, 2025
With broken hearts, we share the sudden and unexpected passing of Jeremy Levan Benson who left us far too soon at the age of 55.
Jeremy was born in Cedar City, Utah to Rodney Levan Benson and Regina Suellen Benson in 1969. He moved to the city of Orange, California in 1973 with his mother, shortly after the passing of his father. He would return to Utah many times to visit family. That is where his Grandfather would teach him about hunting, fishing, woodworking, leather crafts and the love for the outdoors. He would also help him develop his incredible work ethic.
Jeremy grew up in Orange, making many life-long friends. While attending Orange High School he met the love of his life, Sharon. They married in Maui, Hawaii in 2007 and later had beautiful twin daughters, Kayla and Makenna. In 2017 Jeremy was offered a great job opportunity in Georgetown, Texas. He moved his family, and Georgetown is where they call home.
Jeremy was wild, funny, stubborn, smart and full of love. He could talk for hours, making you laugh so hard you would cry. He would always show up when you needed him, no matter what the circumstance. He could fix anything and loved helping family, friends and strangers alike. He was a true original with a heart as big as his personality. Jeremy was both chaos and comfort, a stubborn rock and a soft place to land, challenging and easy at the same time; and we loved him for that.
He had a deep and very personal relationship with God. They conversed frequently and he always spoke of someday giving Jesus a hug. Those of us still here have assurance that Jeremy is home and getting that hug.
He was the best brother, a devoted son, a favorite uncle and above all an incredible husband and father. He leaves behind his wife, Sharon and their beloved twin daughters, who were his entire world.
Jeremy also leaves behind his mother Regina, his three sisters, Serena, Sarah and Shaina, his four brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, and seven nieces and three nephews.
We love you forever Jeremy and we will see again.
There will be a celebration of life for Jeremy at Ramsey Funeral Home on Monday August 11, 2025 at 2:00pm
