Jenise Hawley Smith passed away on Tuesday, 07/02/2024, in Round Rock, Texas. Born in Lawrence, Kansas to Dale and Janet Hawley (deceased), of Manhattan, Kansas. She is survived by her two sisters, Julie Zimmerman and her husband Ken and their daughter Katherine, and Joyce Bright and her husband Paul and daughters, Kristin and Kacey. Also, her husband Bryan Smith, daughter, Marisa Smith, and son, Kyle Smith.

An avid fan and lifelong supporter of Kansas State athletics, she graduated from KSU with a degree in Industrial Engineering in 1984, where she met her husband of 39 years. A loving wife and proud mother, Jenise's impact cannot be measured in words. She never met a stranger and was always ready with a smile and a laugh. Her passion for gardening and genealogy was only surpassed by her love and unwavering support for her family and friends. She will be missed by so many. Goodbyes are only for those with eyes, for those who love with their heart and soul there is no such thing as separation.

A Celebration of Life for Jenise will be held on Saturday, September 21st, 2024 at 10 AM in the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home. A reception will follow at 11 AM. Ramsey Funeral Home is located at 5600 Williams Dr., Georgetown, TX 78633.
