Obituary

Jaxson Hayes Trusty

October 3rd, 2013 - September 13th, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Jaxson Hayes Trusty, on September 13th, at the age of 12. He was born on October 3rd in Austin, TX to Mallary & Justin Trusty.

Jax brought an unimaginable amount of love, light, happiness and endless joy to our lives. He was a true warrior and faced more challenges and surgeries than any child should have to endure, yet he showed us what strength and courage truly looks like. He had many diagnoses including Hydrocephalus and Cerebral Palsy but Epilepsy is what ultimately took his life and caused the most suffering. His smile, feisty spirit and presence touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His hand holding, cuddles and kisses will be missed greatly. Though our hearts are broken, we will carry Jax’s love and memory with us every day. We are forever changed as human beings because of him and what he taught us about life.

Jax is survived by his loving parents, Mallary and Justin Trusty; Grandparents Sandra Kent, Forrest Sanders, Robert Brady and Janie Trusty; Aunt Jessica Rudd, Uncles Bryan Sanders and Robert Jason Trusty; Great Grandmother Susie Hernandez; many Great great aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Michael Kent; Great Grandparents Donald and Lillian Doney, Dewey and Sally Sanders, Robert S Trusty, Doris and Jesse Boyle and Domingo Arguello. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday September 19th 2026 at 2pm located at Ramsey Funeral Home, 5600 Williams Dr., Georgetown, TX 78633. A small casual gathering will be held at home following the service.

Jaxson was supported by many organizations to help better his life, In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made directly to some of these local non profits in Jaxson’s memory.
