Janet was truly loved and cherished by all who knew this amazing and lifting woman.

Janet Bledsoe, age 89, of Georgetown, Texas, Has passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, June 3rd. She was born in Sandia/Orange Grove, TX in 1935 to Howard and Cassie Blount, and has always called Texas her home. Janet was preceded in Death by her husband, Bob Bledsoe, then daughter, Janice "Susie" Throckmorton and survived by her son Del Bledsoe. She was a devoted wife and beloved mother to 2 children, a very proud grandmother to 7 grandchildren including: Heather Hilton, Sarah Golden, Emily Allison, Kenny Bledsoe, Jake Bledsoe, Doug Shirley, then Clayton Throckmorton and 20 great grandchildren. Janet retired from Capitol Anesthesiology Association and enjoyed spending time traveling with her husband. When they weren't traveling they enjoyed dancing, going out for dinners, as well as having friends and family over visiting out at their Funny Farm. We welcome you to share memories and thank you for celebrating the wonderful life of Janet Bledsoe.

A time of visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 15th, 2024 in The Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow starting at 12:00 p.m. in The Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home with Scotty Ray Wright officiating.

Mrs. Bledsoe will be laid to rest next to her husband, Robert, at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery, following the service.
