James (Jim) Raymond "Buckshot" Kaderka, passed away in his home in Granger, Texas early in June, after celebrating 63 years of life in April 2026. Jim was born in Austin, Texas on April 27th,1963 to Raymond Jim Kaderka (of Granger, Texas) and Dorothy Gola Kaderka (of Taylor, Texas).
Jim graduated Class of 1981 from McCallum High School in Austin, Texas. He had many friends and stories to tell from those high school years. Jim had a strong Catholic faith that began from a very early age and continued throughout his lifetime.
Jim had one child, a daughter, Rachel Kay who was the apple of his eye.
Jim was a well known mechanic around Williamson County, Texas where he worked different jobs through the years.
Jim loved farming, everything about it and had a deep passion for agriculture. His Czech roots were important to him. He loved to listen and play polka music, speak Czech and cause a little bit of ruckus now and again. If anyone could tell a good joke, it was Jim.
His family is glad that he is at peace. He is survived by his Daughter, Rachel Kay Shelton, her husband, Bryan Shelton and their child, Leona Lynn Shelton of Comanche, Texas. His sister, Jan Youngbloom, and her husband Richard Youngbloom of Caldwell, Texas. His sister, Missy Kunze, and her husband Kent Kunze of Taylor, Texas. Many nieces and nephews, friends and extended family.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Raymond Jim Kaderka, his mother Dorothy Gola Kaderka, his sister, Becky Morgan, and his grandparents.
