Herman Floyd Kelly, Jr.'s Obituary
Herman Floyd Kelly Jr., passed away July 23, 2016. He was born on April 19, 1938 in Houston, Texas to Herman Floyd Kelly, Sr. and Mary Rust Kelly. He was preceded in death by his parents and one of his twin brother's, William H. Kelly, of Houston.
A writer, photographer and publisher of Texas Highways Magazine until his retirement in 1995. He then served as Executive Director of the International Regional Magazine Association until 2008.
Herman is survived by his wife, Dorothy Kelly; son, Noel Kelly; daughter, Lisa Washburn; brother, Dr. Thomas M. Kelly (Jeanette) of Waco; sister-in-law, Malbie Kelly of Houston; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and an aunt, Ruby Gray, of Gainesville. Also left to miss him, his beloved cat "Bob".
Private family remembrances will be held at a later date.
