Hasumati Mukeshchandra Patel, 84, of Round Rock, TX, transitioned to Akshardham in the early morning of April 16, 2026 surrounded by her family.

Hasumati was born on September 18, 1941, in Dehgam, India, to Rambhai and Kamalaben Amin.

Hasumati was a devoted wife and mother whose journey from India to the United States with her two-year-old daughter marked the start of a new life. She faced the challenges of a new country with strength, embraced a different culture, and preserved her Indian heritage, passing those values on to her family.

Hasumati loved to cook and brought people together through her food. She traveled to mandirs around the world and valued time with family and friends.

Hasumati lived in Round Rock since 1978. She built lasting relationships that grew into extended family.

Hasumati was deeply devoted to her BAPS Swaminarayan faith and cared for her community with sincerity.

Hasumati will be remembered for her strength, generosity, and unwavering love for her family.
