Gloria Jean (Brown) Willis, age 79, passed away on October 4, 2020. She was born to Ernest Cullen Brown and Mary Marie (Hedden) Brown on March 10, 1941 in Rockdale, Texas.

She worked for the State of Texas in the transportation department for 17 years.

Gloria attended Faith Lutheran Church in Georgetown, Texas. She loved children and donated her time in the nursery. Gloria also worked as a preschool teacher at Faith Lutheran Church for many years.

She adored her family with all her heart and was always there to support her kids and grandkids. Gloria was such a dedicated friend to so many people and was known as "Memaw" wherever she went. She enjoyed sewing, baking, watching cooking shows, going to lunch with friends, and attending grandkids events over the years. Her positive attitude and infectious smile will continue to shine in heaven upon us.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Mary Marie Brown and brother, William Brown.

Gloria is survived by her son, Donald Willis (Deana); daughter, Penny Schmidt (Joe); daughter, Michelle Pernicka (Chad); sister, Charlotte Laffere; grandchildren: Taylor Willis, Jordon Willis, Lindsey Blackwell (Chris); Chris Schmidt (Misty); Forrest Schmidt (Whitney); Ryan Schmidt (Haley); Terri Willis, Faith Pernicka, Chance Pernicka; sister-in-law, Mary Frances Brown; great grandchild, Elle Rey Blackwell.

A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Faith Lutheran Church in Georgetown. Following the service, Gloria will be laid to rest at Mahomet Cemetery in Bertram.
