November 25, 1944 – August 21, 2024
Gloria Grace Kesslar, 79, went to be with the Lord surrounded by family on August 21, 2024.

Gloria Kesslar was born on November 25, 1944 in Lampasas County, TX, to Ernest and Meta Schneider.
Gloria graduated from Copperas Cove High School in 1963 and studied Senior Secretarial courses at Nixon-Clay College. She started her career with Airco, Inc. in Houston, Tx. Later she worked as an Executive Secretary for AMAX Petroleum in Houston, Tx and retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company Sales and Marketing in Jacksonville, FL.
Gloria married Rocco Eugene Kesslar on January 1, 1963 in Ft. Hood, Texas. The couple had only one child, Michele Kesslar Packard, of Vero Beach, FL.
Gloria was best known for her love of family. She dearly loved all of her brothers, sisters, many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, three grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Gloria loved to commune with the Lord in her garden. Whether it was picking okra and bell peppers or designing beautiful containers, she enjoyed it all! As her plots and patios gradually diminished in size later in life, she always made room for her beloved plants. She had a natural green thumb and shared her gift with many.
Gloria has always used her talented singing voice to give glory, honor and praise to the God she loved in choral groups at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Jacksonville, FL for many years and The Worship Place, Georgetown, TX.
Gloria enjoyed crafting, decorating for holiday seasons throughout the year, sewing and most recently, she discovered the joy of oil painting! Gloria had an avid love of camping and sailing all over the Southeast. She had many memorable trips with her family and her friends, so much so, one would often hear her reminisce about those times with family and friends.
