Faith Maloney of Leander, Texas departed this earth to be with the Lord on January 31, 2024, in Georgetown, Texas at the age of 78. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 30,1945, to James and Lillian (Moore) Henderson. Faith was raised in Queens Village, New York. After graduating from Martin Van Buren High School in 1963, she studied at Hope College in Holland, Michigan before returning to Queens. She met James 'Jim' Stephen Maloney and the two were married on April 2, 1966. They were happily married for 57 years.

After raising her two children, Janis and James Jr., Faith embarked on a career as a dedicated civil servant for more than 30 years with positions at the Internal Revenue Service and Social Security Department. She prided herself on helping people receive government disability assistance.

Faith loved her family first and foremost and was dedicated to her children and grandchildren. She was patriotic and true to her convictions. Faith loved cooking, entertaining friends and family, and traveling with her husband and soulmate.

Faith is survived by her loving and devoted husband James Maloney of Leander, Texas; daughter, Janis Kay Vazquez del Mercado and her husband Alejandro Vazquez del Mercado of Fort Collins, Colorado, granddaughter, Kacie Vazquez del Mercado, and grandson, Alex Vazquez del Mercado; son, James Stephen Maloney Jr. and his wife, Rowe May Maloney of Scottsdale, Arizona, granddaughters, Mariel Lil "Lilly" Maloney, and Jaymee Christia Maloney.

Faith was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillian Henderson, brothers James Henderson, Kevin Henderson, Glen Henderson, sisters Gale Reilly, and Carole Savoy.
