Obituary

Ethan James Stephens 18, born September 17, 2006 in San Marcos, Texas, died in an accident on March 23, 2025 in Austin, Texas.

Ethan lived most of his life in Georgetown, Texas and recently completed his senior year at East View High School. While in school, he was involved in band, football, baseball, Destination Imagination, ROTC and other activities.

Ethan was uniquely talented in so many ways, artistic, musical, smart, funny, respectful, hard-working, and well natured.

He loved animals, especially cats and had many many photos of them! He loved any type of water activities including sailing, swimming, fishing, and surfing. Ethan had a work ethic way beyond his young age. He was very respected at his workplace, Goodfolks. He was always ready to help anyone, anywhere, anytime.

Family and friends would describe Ethan as resilient, full of character, a proud brother, impactful, fearless, and had a heart of gold.

He was a lifetime member of Faith Lutheran Church in Georgetown, Texas.

He is survived by his mother, Amy Stephens Cox, siblings Katelyn, Colesyn, Jocelyn and Mason.

Grandparents Gene and Peggy Stephens, Cliff and Debbie Outten, and Stephen and Vanessa Bramble.

Great grandmother Barbara Kempainen,

Many aunts, uncles, cousins, second cousins, and his new nephew.

The service for Ethan will be held Friday April 4th at 11 am at Faith Lutheran Church in Georgetown, Texas. A luncheon will follow in the activity center there and a private burial later that afternoon.

Ethan's care is entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas.
