Obituary

Emilio A. Lara, 44, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019. Emilio was born to Emilio and Lorenza A. (Aguilar) Lara on June 8, 1975 in Juarez, Chi, Mexico.

He liked camping and boating, especially in Lake Ouachita. Emilio loved his family, his German Shepherd and his mother-in-law's homemade flour tortillas. He enjoyed spending time wit his family and worked extremely hard to provide for them. He supported his family in their spiritual pursuits and was the type of person that would give the shirt off his back for someone else. When Emilio owned his shop, everyone spoke highly of his integrity and willingness to help anyone, even when people couldn't afford the services, he would still fix their car and not charge them. Everyone in the family's congregation loved him. He was a very caring individual with a contagious smile. Saying goodbye to a great man is extremely hard. He will be greatly miss by all that had the privilege to be a part of his life. Love you always.

Emilio is preceded in death by his mother, Lorenza Lara; father, Emilio Lara; brother, Juan Lara; and stepfather, Lalo Ponce Resendez.

Emilio is survived by his ex-wife and mother of his children, Maria Lara of Little Rock, Arkansas; children: Paulina Lara and Andres Lara of Little Rock, Arkansas; siblings: Ernie Lara of Austin, Texas, Gabby Gilmore and husband Jimmy of Cedar Park, Texas, Janet Lara Estrada and husband Anthony of Round Rock, Texas and  Robert Lara and wife Meagan f Round Rock, Texas; nephews: Johnny Lara, Joshua Alonso, Stephen Gilmore, Jacob Lara, Levi Estrada and Abraham Estrada; and his nieces:  Hailey Gilmore, Hannah Gilmore, Leah Estrada, and Caitlin Lara.
