Eleanor "Hasey" Hollmig passed away on February 6, 2026, in Georgetown, Texas. She was born on February 15, 1939, in Hondo, Texas, to Harley and Millie Eckhart. She was one of seven siblings and is survived by her sister, Ann Bennett.

Hasey married the love of her life, Tommy Hollmig, on May 16, 1959. He preceded her in death. Together, they raised two daughters, Laurie Mayfield (David) and Rebecca Massey (Allen). She was a devoted and proud grandmother; lovingly known as "Moma" to Cassie Meredith (Kyle), Billy Scott (Chelsea), Andrew Massey (Jennifer), Meredith Massey, and Mark Mayfield (Emily).

She was also blessed with great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy: Abby and Annie Meredith; Waylon and Gentry Scott; Olivia Massey; and Violet Mayfield.

Hasey found happiness in the simple pleasures of life—time spent with her Domino ladies, her church family, her cherished Wine Gals, and the Aggie Bunch. These friendships filled her days with laughter, companionship, and countless treasured memories.

After Tommy's passing, Hasey embraced life wholeheartedly. She traveled to many places and made friends everywhere she went. Her warm spirit, curiosity, and easy laughter left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 23rd, at 11:00 a.m. at Hondo Methodist Church in Hondo, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hondo Lions Club in support of the Tommy Hollmig Scholarship or to Hondo Methodist Church.

Hasey will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
