Edward Don Maynard, 63, of Georgetown, passed away on January 7, 2018 with his family by his side.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10 at Ramsey Funeral Home. The Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018 in the Chapel of the Ramsey Funeral Home, 5600 Williams Drive, Georgetown, TX 78633.
Edward was born to Don Leslie and Peggy Ruth (Maner) Maynard on November 29, 1954 in Brownwood, Brown County, TX.
After attending Western Texas College, specializing in Agriculture, Edward became a Warehouse Supervisor for IBM. He was a member of the FFA and loved bull riding, fishing and hunting. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Edward is survived by his mother, Peggy Maynard of Georgetown; daughter, Misty (Michael) Ruiz of Georgetown; son, Marc Maynard (Jennifer) of Crystal Beach, FL; brothers: Ronny and Larry (Donna) Maynard, both of Georgetown; grandsons: Bradley Ruiz and Brighton Maynard; granddaughter, Ryleigh Ruiz along with his nephew, Matt Maynard.
Don Leslie Maynard, Edward's dad, preceded him in death.
