Doyle
Harris
August 20, 1967 – March 7, 2025
Doyle Glen Harris, 57, passed away on March 7, 2025, in Georgetown, Texas. He was born on August 20, 1967, in Amarillo, Texas.
Doyle proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1987 to 1994, achieving the rank of Lance Corporal. During his service, he participated in Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. His dedication and bravery were recognized with the National Defense Service Medal and the Southwest Asia Service Medal.
A man of deep faith, Doyle was a born-again Christian who was raised in a Christian home. Since 2006, he and his family were devoted members of Celebration Church. He faithfully read his Bible each morning, prayed diligently, and sought God's guidance for his children, family, and friends. His unwavering faith was a cornerstone of his life.
Doyle was known for his boldness, courage, kindness, dedication, and hard work. He was reserved yet deeply loving and loyal to those he held dear. Above all else, he cherished his children—Brock Zachary Harris (20), Ava Zandra Harris (18), Luca Biagio Harris (16), and Ben Ellis Harris (11). He also carried the memory of his beloved daughter Elizabeth Grace Harris in his heart. Doyle was predeceased by his parents, Van Doyle Harris and Roberta Grace Harris.
He took great pride in his work at Big Foot, where he felt valued and appreciated. He often shared how much he looked forward to each day on the job. Those who knew him recognized him as one of the hardest-working men they had ever met—someone who would do anything for his family.
