Douglas "Tuga" Powell, 59, passed away on September 10, 2022, in Round Rock, Texas.

Tuga was born on November 21, 1962 in Georgetown, TX, to R. T. Powell and Hazel Powell. He graduated from Georgetown High School in 1980. He loved working on automobiles and spent his working life as a mechanic.

Tuga is survived by his wife, Edith Powell of Georgetown, Texas; sister, Rubye Powell of Dallas, Texas; sister, Wanda Powell of Pflugerville, Texas; brother, James Powell of Georgetown, Texas; sister, Theresa Powell Wilder of Austin, Texas; as well numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Tuga was preceded in death by his parents, R. T. and Hazel Powell; brother, Thomas Powell; sister, Emily Powell; sister, Aubrey Powell; as well as his sister, Cynthia Powell.

A time of Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 on Friday, September 23rd, 2022 in the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. also in the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home.
