Donald Smalley, 79 of Round Rock, Texas passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016.

He was born on March 9, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois to parents Charles and Goldie (Guinn) Smalley. Donald attended Lane Tech University. He was married to Patricia (Pitlik) Smalley for over 57 years before her passing in September of 2013.

Donald was a Superintendent in the Construction Business for HW Wahlers in New Braunfels, Texas. He retired in March of 2015. Donald loved to play solitaire and enjoyed technology and history. He loved architecture and was a fan of the architect Frank Lloyd Wright's work. But most of all he loved spending time with his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Smalley; daughter, Denise Smalley and son, Kenneth Smalley.

He is survived by his sons: Donald W. Smalley, Jr. & wife Lori of Ingleside, Illinois, Richard A. Smalley & wife Bonny of Rolling Meadows, Illinois, Douglas H. Smalley of Austin, Texas; daughters: Deanne T. Mitchell of Georgetown, Texas, Dena M. Klepacki & husband Gregory of Round Rock, Texas; granddaughters: Amanda Smalley, Cassie Smalley, Christina Smalley, Natasha Smalley, Meaghan Smalley, Kimberly Smalley, Cheyanne Smalley, Brianna Klepacki, Kayla Klepacki; grandsons: Nicholas Smalley, Michael Smalley, Matthew Smalley, Bryson Mitchell, Deven Smalley, Anthony Smalley; three great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home.
