Donald Francis Ross, lovingly known as Don, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026. He was 72 years old. Those who knew him will remember his sense of humor, storytelling, devotion to his career, and the way he connected with people all over the world through his travels.

In his final days, Don was cared for at his son Jason and daughter-in-law Crystal's home with the support of hospice, where he was surrounded by loved ones with comfort, compassion, and dignity.

Don is survived by his children: Christy, Jason, Michelle, Robert "Jamie", Allison, and Jadin. Their spouses: Crystal, Steve, Carson, and Douglas. His 4 grandchildren: Miles, Audrey, Carolyn, and Cody; and six siblings: Linda, Debbie, Cathy, Joe, Lisa & Mike.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Gertrude Ross, and by his siblings, David & Kim.

Don's legacy lives on in the family he loved fiercely, the friendships he built across the world, and the countless memories made around his table.

His funeral will be Tuesday Feb. 3rd, 12:00pm at Darling Fischer Funeral Home in Los Gatos, CA. He will be laid to rest at Los Gatos Memorial Park in San Jose, CA. And a Celebration of Life to honor Don will be held in Texas at the end of February.
