Dolores Danielson Doherty, age 90, died Thursday, May 22, 2025 in Burnet, TX at Pafford Place Assisted Living where she has resided for the past 6 years. She was raised by her paternal aunt Delia Crawford in Melvin, TX. She moved to Austin, TX, her senior year of high school.

She was a former resident of Austin, Georgetown & Hutto. Dolores worked at IBM in Austin for many years.

Dolores is survived by daughters, Donna Braun (Wayne), Denise Benningfield (Phil), son Dwain Doherty (Lisa). She is also survived by five grandsons, Shane, Kurt, Eric, Colby & Mason, three granddaughters, Roxane, Jaime & Jennifer & numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, James "Pete" Doherty (1988), daughter, Diane Doherty (2009), Delia Crawford and brother, Joe Neil Danielson.

A graveside service will be held to honor Dolores at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025 at Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas. Rev. Jim McLendon will be officiating.
