Diane Skarda
Hartman
Aug 23, 1966 — May 1, 2026
Diane Skarda Hartman, age 59, of Round Rock, Texas, passed away on May 1, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born in Berwyn, Illinois, Diane lived a life filled with love, dedication, laughter, and compassion. She made her home in Round Rock alongside her three beloved fur babies, Daisy, Bentley, and Shiloh, who brought her endless joy.
Diane was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Brittany Hartman Renner and Sheridan Hartman; a loving mother-in-law to Matthew Renner; and a proud and adoring “Gigi” to her precious granddaughter, Harper Josephine Renner. Family was the center of Diane’s world, and there was nothing she treasured more than the people she loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Eleanor Skarda, and her older brother, Russell Skarda.
She was known for her radiant smile, infectious laugh, and vibrant personality. Diane carried herself with confidence and style, always impeccably dressed from head to toe and never without the perfect pair of shoes. She loved music, movies, reading, shopping, and making memories on vacations with the people she loved most.
Those who knew Diane will remember her as the most devoted mom, a loving and proud Gigi, an incredibly hard worker, and a woman with the biggest heart for animals and people alike. She was a loyal friend, a caring soul, and an overall incredible person whose kindness touched so many lives.
Diane dedicated more than 30 years of her career as a new home sales consultant, where she built lasting relationships and was known for her warmth, professionalism, and ability to make everyone feel welcome. She had a true gift for connecting with people and brightening every room she entered.
Diane was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church, having carried her faith with her since childhood.
A funeral service honoring Diane’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Ramsey Funeral Home, 5600 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78633. Family visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service.
In celebration of Diane’s vibrant spirit and love for color, her daughters kindly ask that guests wear BRIGHT colors and NO black. Please help fill the room with Diane’s favorite joyful shades of pink, orange, yellow, blue, green, purple, and more.
Diane will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the joy she brought to others, the love she gave so freely, and the light she carried everywhere she went. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
