David Adair Steinbach, age 84, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on September 7, 2021. David was born on February 20, 1937, in Brenham, Texas, to parents, Louis Steinbach and Floy (Adair) Steinbach.

David attended Blinn Jr. College where he received his Associates degree, and then continued to Lamar University, where he received his BS in Industrial Engineering in 1964.

David married Patricia Wilkening, on January 27, 1962, in Brenham, Texas.

David started his career working as an estimator for various construction firms in Austin over 16 years. In 1980, he felt the calling to begin his own company and so he did. David was the owner, and founder, of American Drywall Systems, Inc. in Austin, Texas. He and his wife, Pat, worked side by side for 26 years providing commercial drywall construction for the Austin area. They both retired together in 2006. After that wonderful journey, they moved to Georgetown, Texas and began enjoying a more relaxed way of life and David finally found time to play the game of golf. And he always let us know how well he did!

He cherished his time coaching at Northwest Little League Baseball for ten years throughout the '70's. His teams were always THE team to beat. Needless to say, he knew how to win! So many special memories were created with special boys, especially with his son, Craig.

David and Patricia are members of Crestview Baptist Church, of Georgetown, Texas. David loved to share his testimony of his love for Jesus at every opportunity.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Floy Steinbach. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia Steinbach and his sister, Carolyn Sue Steinbach; son, Craig Steinbach and wife, Tammy; daughter, Karen Scott and husband, Mike; granddaughters: Ashley Lankford and her husband, Gray, Haley Blackwell and her husband, Taylor, and Allison Scott; grandsons: Kyle Steinbach and his wife, Nicole, Chad Scott, and Luke Scott; great grandchildren: Grant, Gunner, Grayson and Sadie Lankford, Garrett and Andrew Steinbach.

Honored to be pallbearers: Kyle Steinbach, Craig Steinbach, Luke Scott, Chad Scott, Ken Arnold and Marty Krueger.
