Darla Leane
Rose
November 21, 1975 – May 11, 2025
Darla Leane Rose, 49, of Temple. TX moved to her heavenly home on Sunday, May 11, 2025.
She was born in Eureka, California, to parents Robert Camper and Linda (Johnson) on November 21st, 1975. She married Bryan Rose on February 14th, 1998, in Columbus, Ohio. She worked as an Executive Assistant for several Enterprise organizations, but her most prized role was being a Stay-at-Home Mom for her daughter, Karli, over the last fifteen years.
Pastor Darla enjoyed her vacations, which usually involved Disney Parks, Disney Cruises and some golf. As a planner, she enjoyed the process of planning vacations almost as much as the actual trips. She loved spending time with her family, having "car talks" with Karli, and getting calls/texts from her sister and niece, daily.
She loved to worship God, serve in the local church, love on people, and protect the divine supply her Pastors were to her life. She lovingly Pastored with her Husband at Church on the Rock Waco.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 24th at Church On The Rock Georgetown, Texas. Burial will follow at Our Lady Of The Rosary Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her Mother, Linda Johnson, and Father-in-Law, Larry Rose. Darla is survived by her Loving Husband of 27 years, Pastor Bryan Rose, and her devoted daughter, Karli Rose. Sister Beth Storts. Mother in Law, Paula Rose. Sister In Law Alisa Rose, Brother & Sister In Law Nicholas and Melissa Peoples, and Brother & Sister In Law Mike and Debbie Rose. Nieces; Breanna Branham, Brynlie Rose, and Makayla Peoples. Nephews; Preston Branham, Maxton Storts, Brayden Rose, Dwayne Peoples, and Zai'Lious Rose.
The family of Pastor Darla Rose wishes to extend our sincere thanks to our Pastors, Pastors Dennis & Angie Hattabaugh for their relentless support and love. To our Church families in Waco and Georgetown for their love, support, and prayers. To all the family and friends who rallied around us selflessly. To our Performing Arts Studio Family who continuously support and love us. And most importantly, to our Heavenly Father, whom Pastor Darla pursued after with all her heart, and is the anchor of our lives.
Arrangements are by Ramsey Funeral Home. In lieu of Flowers, Donations may be given to Church On The Rock Waco ( www.cotrwaco.org ). Please select the "Giving" tab and designate under offering with a note "Pastor Darla"
