Daniel "Danny" Bantigue Rivera (1949-2025)

Known for his love of singing, Danny would break into a song at every gathering, turning simple moments into lasting memories, bringing joy and light wherever he went… truly the life of the party.

Daniel "Danny" Bantigue Rivera, 76, was born in Pagadian City, Philippines on May 9, 1949 to Pelagio and Asteria. He died in Round Rock, Texas on September 9, 2025.

Danny met the love of his life, Leticia "Letty" Rivera, in 1965 when they were neighbors in Manila. Letty was a science and math teacher. Every morning before she left for school, Danny would greet her cheerfully with, "Hello, Ma'am Castillo." Determined to win her heart, Danny never gave up until Letty became his girlfriend. Excited to begin their journey together, they were married in September 1980.

Danny is survived by wife - Letty, three children - Jethro, Reginald and Zyra, and six grandchildren - Liz, Tayton, Pio, Landen, Zayleigh and Abigail.

Danny's love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in stories shared, the music he loved, and the countless lives he touched.

At this time, the family will hold services to honor Danny's life at Ramsey Funeral Home and Crematorium in Georgetown, Texas on Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
