Consuelo S. Fernandez, 86, of Georgetown passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 surrounded by her family.

Viewing will be Friday, August 21 2026, 6-8 pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home in Georgetown, TX. Service will be performed by Brother David Jones at Ramsey Funeral Home at 10 am, August 22, 2026. Burial will be at the Georgetown Memorial Cemetery following service.

Consuelo was born June 24, 1940 to Rosendo and Herminia (De Los Santos) Salazar. Consuelo enjoyed music, dancing, dining out, and living in Georgetown. She loved being with her family, her grandchildren and especially her great grandchildren.

She is survived by 7 daughters and 1 son, Alice Morales and husband Felix of Austin, TX, 2 grandsons, Roger Morales and wife Angelina and 4 great grandchildren, Tony Lee, Bianca, Jamie and Joseph, Grandson Randy Lee Morales, granddaughter Lesley Anne Aleman and husband Jason and 3 great grandchildren, Jason Felix, Alicia Joanna and Jacob; Sara Luera of Temple, TX; Irene Luera of Temple Texas, 2 grandsons, Andres and Deven Ochoa; Priscilla Alvarado and husband Filiberto, 3 grandsons, Johnny Aldaco and great grandson, Avery Jack, Kasin Aldaco and great granddaughter Keira, and Brandon Aldaco; Joel Luera Jr. and wife Edith, 2 granddaughters, Casondra Cabillan and husband Brian, 2 great grandchildren Gunner and Granger, Ashley Dozier and husband Dillion; Cynthia Pedraza and husband Bartolo, 3 grandsons, Ignacio Ben Luera, Mathew Pedraza, Paul Pedraza and wife Stephanie, 2 great grandchildren, Loyal and Legend Pedraza; Michelle Ross and husband Todd, 7 grandchildren, Venessa Payne and husband Andrew, 4 great grandchildren Joshua, Joseph, Jaxson, and Isabella; Justin Garcia and great granddaughter Nevaeh Garcia; Chelsea Dawn Actkinson, Ryan Marino Pitts, Mariah Nicole Pitts, Joanna Ross and Jared Ross; America Garcia and husband Juan, 3 grandchildren, Nina and husband Gabriel, Nathan Carrasco, Jaida Cruel and 2 great grandchildren, Kehlani and Davinci Taitague.

She was preceded in death by son Jose "Chiquito" Vargas.

Pallbearers are Joel Jr. Luera, Ryan Pitts, Paul Pedraza, Ben Luera, Juan Garcia, and Nate Carrasco; Reserves Johnny Aldaco, Deven and Andres Ochoa.
