Christine Gowen Boone, 83, of Georgetown, TX passed away on November 15, 2025 in Round Rock, TX.
She was born December 24, 1941, to Justin and Mary Gowen, joining siblings Paul (Birmingham, AL), Justine (Caldwell, ID) and Michael (d. Caldwell, ID). While attending Dunbarton College of the Holy Cross in Washington, DC, she met Howard Eugene Boone, then a cadet at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. On Graduation Day, June 3, 1964, they were united in marriage. They settled in Georgetown in 1995, following Howard's 31 years of military service.
They were blessed with four children, Cindy (Austin, TX), Charlie (Arlington, VA), Craig (Phoenix, AZ), and Cassie (Georgetown, TX), 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
We rest knowing she is now reunited with Howard, who left us on August 6, 1996.
