Dr. Charles Bailey,age 80, of Leander, Texas passed away on December 6, 2017. He was born March 5, 1937 in Lackawanna, NY to Durie and Beatrice Bailey. Charles married Jo Benson in March of 1970. He was a retired Colonel in the U.S. Air Force. Charles was the founding Pastor of Resurrection Baptist Church in Schertz, Texas.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 2:00 pm with the Funeral services beginning at 3:00 pm at Maranatha Bible Church in Converse, Texas. Graveside services will be held with full military honors at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 9:30 am.
