KC (Cassandra Washington) is Survived by her loving, devoted husband Vince Washington, joined together in marriage, December 22, 2022; mother Lorraine Smith (Carl, deceased); sister Alicia Gregory Alexander/partner Tracey Alexander; loving aunties Linda Gillon; Loretta Connor; Lois Connor; Laverne Fisher (Robert); Lillian Cobbs (Bruce); Laura Hayes (Melvin); Larry Eugene Connor, uncle/deceased). Cassandra leaves behind a host of first cousins Devin Olisah, Jenard Bostick, Brandy Bonner, N’Dera Cobbs, Melora Hayes, Dwayne Brown; second cousins Rylan, Ayn and Mikey Bonner; Skye Fields. Among precious, dear friends are Natasha Faire whose twins were Cassandra’s God Littles; Nicolle Clarke, Tametria Davis, Christine Moline, Shonda Timothy, Tracie White, Shelly Noble-Greggs, Brandi Barnes just to name a few! Finally she leaves tons of hugs and kisses to her forever, never to be forgotten fur baby, Teddy Vic Rosenfelt.

KC was an extraordinary human being, incredible individual and remarkable woman known for her compassion and commitment to uplifting others, particularly women and people less fortunate. Over the years, she organized events like Galentine's Day and various women's gatherings, where she intentionally paired attendees with unfamiliar faces to foster connections. These events were not only about networking; they included thoughtful gifts and engaging raffles, creating a warm and inviting atmospheres for all participants. A network, friendship and sisterhood.

Her enthusiasm extended beyond personal gatherings to community service, where she actively volunteered at work-related community events. KC's vibrant personality and distinctive fashion sense made her a standout presence, often bringing energy and joy to any occasion. She excelled and was the go-to person in planning family lunches, dinners, outings, birthday celebrations, and other gatherings, showcasing her talent for creating memorable experiences. Additionally, as a co-leader of a non-profit organization, Chic Time, she played a crucial role in its operations before its disbandment, visiting young girls at settlement homes. She also collaborated closely with Dress for Success. "Providing women with the resources, tools and support they need to not only secure gainful, fulfilling employment, but to continue growing personally and professionally long after their last appointment."

Professionally, KC thrived as a trainer and training manager at various organizations, including the CATERPILLAR, The Department of Public Safety, The Texas Department of Transportation and CapMetro, Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Her passion for training and helping others grow in their careers and find meaningful employment was evident in her work. She was very good and intentional in working with third party agencies, companies, and vendors. She ensured they felt a sense of belonging to the organization they worked for. Beyond her career, she cherished her family, relishing moments spent together, whether through conversation, travel, or simply showing love and care. A shopping enthusiast, KC found joy in exploring Dollar Trees and many other various stores and shops for popular items at affordable prices, reflecting her resourceful spirit.

KC leaves behind her beloved husband and fur baby TeddyVic Rosenfelt - F2 Golden Doddle, a wonderful mother, amazing sister, nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, cousins, God littles (God Children), Brother's in Sister's in Christ and co-workers and friends.

Her legacy has always been loving people, caring for people and their feelings, having a giving heart loved and putting a smile on peoples faces. Making everybody she came in contact with feel seen and loved. KC will be forever missed but always not forgotten.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on August 17, 2026 at Sweet Home - The Pinnacle of Praise, 3200 Sunrise Rd, Round Rock, TX 78665. The graveside service will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542. A reception will follow the burial at 3:00 pm at Ramsey Funeral Home, 5600 Williams Dr., Georgetown, TX 78633.
