Carol Ann (Marak) Hjornevik was born on September 23, 1959 in Georgetown, Texas to John and Elizabeth (Domel) Marak. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Walburg, Texas. She passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024 in Round Rock at the age of 65.

Carol was a graduate of Georgetown High School and had a long and successful career at Tracor/BAE. Carol loved spending time with family, putting puzzles together, and playing games. She enjoyed good food and good music (especially Bob Schneider).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Brian Marak Sr. She is survived by Dean "Xan" Hjornevik (Son), Ivy Hjornevik (Daughter), Connie Marak (Sister), Shirley Williams (Sister), Stanley Marak (Brother), Susan Sohns (Sister) and her husband Richard, and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Carol always had much love to give and will be missed by many. Family and friends will be holding a celebration of life in the near future.
