Carl Edward (Buddy) Jehl, Jr., 60, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away Monday December 23, 2024. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, on August 25, 1964, to Bonnie Gay and Carl Edward Jehl, Sr. He grew up in both Austin and Round Rock, Texas and attended Round Rock High School. After high school, he worked in the family business, BJ's Liquors, and began a career in banking and later worked for Blockbuster Video prior to his retirement.

Buddy was an amazing husband, brother, uncle and friend to many. He cherished time with family and friends, and was the happiest when traveling, especially to Carmel, California, which Buddy enjoyed visiting each year. He was also an avid antique enthusiast who could spend hours wandering various stores, and Buddy loved being with his Sun City friends whether he was hosting an event or attending someone else's.
He is preceded in death and reunited in heaven with his parents, Bonnie and Carl Jehl, Sr., his grandparents Alvin and Virginia Ezzell and his brother Eric Wayne (Rick) Jehl. He is survived by his husband, Robin Branham and beloved dog Jack. He also leaves behind his brother, Chuck Jehl and his wife Marilyn, sister-in-law Tina Jehl, and nephews and nieces, Jake (Erin), Jared (Ashlee), Jason (Olivia), Jaxon, and Hunter Jehl and Taylor (Michael) Reed and two great nieces, Chloe Mae and Addie Jo Jehl.
