Obituary

Bob R. Fisher, age 85 passed away peacefully at his home on January 28, 2026. He was born on February 12, 1940 to William and Leola Fisher and is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Billy, sister Joetta and brother-in-law Taylor.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marian of 48 years, his brother Keith and wife Jackie of Sweetwater, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mike and Jayme Vaughan of Georgetown, brother-in-law Jerry Vaughan of Bedford, several nieces, nephews and grand nephews.

Bob lives a life of kindness and generosity for all those he loved. He will be remembered for his passion for flying, riding his Harley and target shooting, but more especially for his unwavering desire to care for every dog, car or horse that he could. His last being our little Yorkie, Bella who shared her life with us for 13 years.

He proudly served in the U. S. Airforce for 4 years and was honorably discharged. He went on to build a successful career in Sales Management with John Deere where he retired after 30 years of service.

Despite his many health challenges, he remained resilient, independent and grateful in this life, and he will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew him.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, February 20th at 2pm in the IOOF Cemetery in Georgetown, Texas with Pastor Jeremy Gengler officiating.
