Bobbi Marie
Seymour
August 6, 1949 – March 9, 2025
Bobbi Marie (Arendt) Seymour 1949-2025
Bobbi Marie Seymour passed away peacefully at age 75 on March 9, 2025. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when she was needed most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Bobbi wa s born in Ft. Dodge, Iowa on August 6, 1949 and grew up in Wheaton, Illinois. She moved to Iowa when she was 13 and graduated from Spencer High School in 1968. She moved to Waco, TX in 1977. Bobbi later married Albert Mark Seymour on November 16, 2012. They lived in Colleyville until 2018 when they moved to Watauga, TX. Bobbi had a hemorrhagic stroke on 2/22/2022 (a date we will never forget) which resulted in a move to the Austin area for both she and Mark in September of 2022 to be closer to family.
She was a hairstylist for 42 years with an incredible amount of loyal clients who were with her for much of her career. She loved talking to people and helping them express themselves with beautiful styles. She retired from Salon Amis of North Richland Hills, TX in February of 2022.
Bobbi was a child of God, a strong Christian, and loved singing and praising Him! One of her favorite activities was attending Antioch of Georgetown! She spoke to everyone she met as if she had known them forever. She had a way of making everyone feel important. She was never hesitant to express her opinions and beliefs, and of course, she was "always right". Bobbi was a very independent, strong-minded and resilient woman. She always managed to stay on her feet and take care of her family. She had a contagious sense of humor and never stopped laughing even to the end. She liked to read, watch movies, hike, travel, and spend time with her family. Bobbi loved animals, especially Nikki, her beloved dog! And of course, she had an undeniable love of chocolate.
Bobbi is survived by her two children, Lauri and husband Mitchell Collins of Longview, TX, and Randi and husband Waylan Cain of Georgetown, TX. She leaves eight grandchildren, Christian Collins of Tyler, TX, Sydney Collins of Boone, NC, Gracie and her husband, Brett Dimas of Longview, TX, Carter Collins of Longview, TX, Joseph Cain of College Park, MD, Ethan Cain and his wife, Brett of Kailua, HI, Morgan Cain of Santa Monica, CA and Stuart Cain of Bryan, TX.
Bobbi was predeceased by her parents, Clement Nicholas and Yeolyen Regina Arendt, her husband, Albert Mark Seymour, sister Anne Gaylorn, and her beloved dog, Nikki.
The family would like to especially thank the staff and residents at Park Place Health Care Center for their compassionate care and friendship.
Bobbi's friends and family will be honoring her with a Celebration of Life on May 3, 2025, 1:00pm at Antioch Georgetown, 111 W Tenth Street, Georgetown, TX 78626.
