Announcing the passing of Betty Jane Clark (nee. Higgins) age 87 at her home in Georgetown, Texas. On November 27, 2021, Betty passed into eternity early in the morning. She was born on September 15th, 1934, in Port Acres, Texas. Betty was the last of nine children of the blended family of William Francis Higgins and Chloey Hyacinth Cousins Brown. Preceding her in death were her parents and siblings William F. Higgins Jr., Louis Higgins, Margaret Roderick (nee Higgins), Floyd Cousins, Edwin Brown, Catherine Reed (nee Brown), Chloey Walker (nee Higgins) Hazel Henry (nee Higgins). Betty's beloved husband Alexander Robert Clark also preceded her in death.

Family was everything to Betty, beginning with her marriage to Bob Clark on November 15, 1958, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Betty was very devout in her belief of Jesus Christ. As a mother she read Bible stories to her children. Later in her life she became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints on October 21,1979. She encouraged her family to find faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and in His gospel. She will be sorely missed by her surviving children, Tara Jane Smith (nee Clark), Laura Jean Roberson (nee Clark) and Steven Paul Clark.

A time of visitation will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Ramsey Funeral Home on Saturday, December 4th, 2021. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 3:00 p.m. at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Georgetown.
