Aurora Pearl Lim was born to Alexander Peter Lim and Rosalina Chong-Lim on April 5, 1936, in Puerto Armeulles, Republic of Panama. She moved to Colon, Panama at the beginning of World War II and attended the Panama Canal Zone schools. She graduated from Cristobal High School in 1954. In 1957 she met and married her husband of 67 years, Leon Holloway. In 1958 they moved to Kansas where he earned his BSEE and MSEE degrees. She worked as a bookkeeper for an electrical contracting company to help pay the tuition. They moved to Dallas, Texas in 1964 and lived there for 37 years. During this time, she worked as a bookkeeper for a catering firm for 12 years and a manufacturing firm for another 12 years before retiring in 1998. After Leon retired in 2002, They moved to Sun City Texas, in Georgetown, Texas. There she enjoyed various activities but, most of all, playing Bridge.
Aurora was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Alex, Alvin, and Andrew Lim as well as sisters Pauline Lim-Golding, Angelica Lim-Wong, Arlene Lim-Gamble, and Adalia Lim. Also, infant son, Brent Holloway. She is survived by her husband, Leon Holloway, sister Sandra Lim Aubrey, son Craig Holloway, daughter Hope Holloway-Williamson, grandsons Stewart and Chandler Holloway and numerous nieces and nephews.
